Elizabeth Misselbrook

Elizabeth manages a large and varied caseload and provides valuable formalities support to the busy Chemical and Life Sciences team.

Her day-to-day responsibilities include liaising with clients and overseas patent attorneys, and with filing and prosecution at the UK IP Office, the European Patent Office and the World Intellectual Property Office. Elizabeth has also been involved at an administrative level with a large number of opposition and appeal cases at the European Patent Office.

In addition to her patent administration responsibilities, Elizabeth is involved with training the trainee patent administrators, an aspect of her position that she very much enjoys.

Elizabeth is also a qualified Mental Health First Aider, offering support within the firm and promoting the importance of mental health in the workplace.

Elizabeth enjoys the social side of HLK. She is a regular at the weekly yoga classes and recently took part in the Bristol 10km run with some of her fellow colleagues to raise money for the foundation.
