About Angus

Angus is a solicitor and assists clients with contentious and non-contentious IP law issues, particularly in relation to patents and trade secrets.

Angus has experience assisting with patent matters across a broad range of technologies and industries, including: pharmaceuticals; medical devices; telecommunications; electronics; and consumer products.

He has assisted clients with IP litigation before the UK High Court and with post-grant patent opposition proceedings before the European Patent Office.

Angus also has experience assisting clients to coordinate multi-jurisdictional litigation by working collaboratively with advisors in non-UK jurisdictions. His experience includes advising on issues relating to obtaining evidence in the UK for use in international proceedings.

Angus trained and qualified in 2017 with a specialist patent litigation team, before joining HLK in 2019.
