About Joan

Joan joined HLK in September 2019 as a Senior Patent Administrator providing support in the London/Munich Tech team.

Joan has worked in the patent profession since 1996 gaining a wealth of experience in other London firms of patent attorneys and achieving the CIPA Certificate in Patent Administration in 2004.

Prior to joining HLK, Joan has worked as a Patent Administrator Coordinator in another leading intellectual property firm based in London which involved conducting interviews with HR, providing InProtech (IPT) training for new Patent Administrators, liaising with other Patent Administrators to arrange absence cover, dealing with general IPT queries and providing secretarial support to one of the dynamic partners in the Electronics and Engineering department.

Joan also speaks Tagalog (Filipino) and Ilocano (Filipino).
